
COZUMEL 2001
Cozumel is the Mexican Caribbean's largest island, lying 12 miles off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. The island is 28 miles long and about 10 miles wide. Located near Cancun; it is a popular destination for divers and non divers alike. Most of the diving and snorkeling activities on Cozumel are focused on the reef walls, underwater caves, and shallow coral formations on the west side of the island.
Boat and shore dives were based at the Scuba Club Dive Resort.
